TCOP practitioners have over 100 years of combined experience and knowledge in the orthotic and prosthetic industry. Our practitioners collaborate on client cases and scenarios to ensure we are using the proper products and techniques to maximize the fit, feel and function of the orthotic or prosthetic device. The shared knowledge attributes to the success and reputation TCOP has as the primary choice for orthotics and prosthetics.
Our practitioners are able to share this knowledge with you and your staff through consultations and in-service seminars.
- Pre-amputation consultation; discuss proper amputation level and preparation of residual limb to maximize fit of prostheses. Discuss patient goals to best match their prosthetic needs
- Post-operation care of residual limb (compression therapy and removable rigid dressing protection)
- New products and recommendations for varying K levels – increased safety
In-Service
- Overview of TCOP and our products and services
- Introduction of new products and technology
- Peer support group – available to consult with new limb loss patients
- Biomechanics / Gait
- Socket design
Our practitioners will spend 30-60 minutes updating you and your group on the products, services, techniques and designs that are being used by our organization to maximize patient success and outcomes.
